"Kiholo Lagoon" by Lisa Greenwell Hummel

This lovely painting featuring a peaceful morning at Kiholo lagoon on Hawai'i Island was created just for Kahiau by Hawai'i artist Lisa Greenwell Hummel. Lisa has been painting since she was 12 years old, often tagging along to painting classes with her mother, Carol Adamson Greenwell. This piece is an original oil on canvas, measures approximately 13" x 21" and is framed in solid mango wood with a linen liner.

Girls' Enchanted Fairy Tea Party

A magical day it will be! This unforgettable enchanted experience on Saturday, May 6 begins at 9:00 a.m. with transportation on a special 15-passenger chariot bus to a luxurious private residence in Kukio with three (3) bridges and a "mermaid lagoon". Each child will have her hair done and receive fairy wings to transform her into a beautiful fairy for the day. The 10 lucky fairies will enjoy homemade sweet treats, including sparkly macaroons with Nutella ganache filling and rosewater buttercream; rice krispie treats with sprinkles; and fresh fruit and sandwiches cut into hearts and stars. Fairies will even get to sip pink "pixie dust" punch from a real tea set. This whimsical day ends with games and each fairy taking home a goodie bag, fairy wings and a make-up kit.

Recommended age is kindergarten through grade 5.
