Four (4) Fine Wines Hand-selected by Alvin Wakayama of Kamuela Liquor Store

This incredible selection of wines was personally selected for Kahiau by Alvin Wakayama of Kamuela Liquor Store.  This special package includes the following four (4) highly sought after wines:

2008 Bollinger La Grande Année Vintage Sparkling Wine from Champagne, France
Grande Année 2008 is from one of the most anticipated vintages since the start of the 21st century. The exceptional 2008 harvest resulted in a wine of infinite depth, concentration, and freshness. It expresses its distinctiveness in this deep, complex, and harmonious wine. The clear wines were very promising: the Chardonnays were pure and straight and the Pinot Noirs rich and expressive. These two grape varieties compliment each other to give a blend with a rare balance. It has great aging potential.

2015 Dominus Christian Moueix Bordeaux Red Blends from Yountville, Napa Valley
Known for its complexity and balance, Dominus demonstrates the potential of a wine produced on exceptional terroir. Structured, seamless and perfectly integrated, Dominus is an elegant wine that improves with age.

2006 Château Montrose Saint-Estèphe Bordeaux Red Blends from Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, France
The 2006 Château Montrose is a red wine made by Château Montrose from the region of Saint-Estèphe produced with petit verdot, merlot, monastrell, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc from the 2006 vintage. The 2006 Château Montrose is the ideal red to combine with game and braised beef.

2005 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling
The 2005 Anrecht was block-harvested in the similarly named Lieu-Dit situated in a steep hill part of the Zeltinger Himmelreich vineyard. It is still marked by some residual scents from spontaneous fermentation. These give way to a gorgeous bouquet of white peach, pear, grapefruit zest, and white flowers on the nose. The wine is nicely playful with good presence yet slender body on the palate and leaves a beautifully long and persistent feel in the pear and white flower infused finish.

Item must be picked up from Parker School.
