This signed original oil on canvas titled "Koko Crater from Sandy Beach" by Lloyd Sexton (1912-1990) is a true rarity. Arguably Hawaii's most desired and sought after landscape painter, Sexton is known for his keen eye for detail and color. This stunning painting by Sexton from circa 1970, depicts the lower ridges flanking Koko Crater on the most southern side of O`ahu Island rising above the famous body surfing spot Sandy Beach.
