The USS Missouri was launched on January 29, 1944, and is the last U.S. battleship ever built. After joining the battle for Okinawa, she became the site of the Japanese surrender on September 2, 1945. Today, she stands proudly overlooking her fallen sister ship, the U.S.S. Arizona, providing closure for America's fight to bring peace to the Pacific. The "Mighty MO" is a Pearl Harbor must see!
